The SA Select Women’s Sevens team, coached by former Springboks and Springboks Sevens speedster Jongi Nokwe will contest the Hokkaido Sevens in Japan.

The South African team is one of four international development sides who will take on eight Japanese teams in Hokkaido (9-10 September).

The SA Select team is:

Felicia Jacobs – Western Province

Alana-Lee Horne – Western Province

Bianca Meyer – Blue Bulls

Shaunique Hess – Western Province

Kirsten Conrad – Western Province

Sinazo Mcatshulwa – Western Province

Nellodene de Wee – Griquas

Shaylin Simons – Western Province

Shuneez van Heerden – Leopards

Marithy Pienaar – Contracted SA Rugby player

Nomsa Mokwai – Contracted SA Rugby player

South Africa will play their pool-matches on Saturday (time and results to be advised)
