En-route to the United Kingdom for the final leg of the 2011/12 HSBC Sevens World Series in Scotland and England, the Springbok Sevens left their home soil on Sunday 29 April.
However, as usual, sponsors ABSA was not going to let the final overseas trip for the Blitzbokke go down as yet “another overseas tour.”

A visit to the Etihad Stadium on Monday to witness, in person the Premier League clash between none other than Manchester United and rivals Manchester City.
Springbok Sevens skipper Kyle Brown Tweeted the following ahead of their Etihad visit:
