Regular fans of Rugby Sevens will know about (New Zealand skipper) DJ Forbes’ beard ritual. They will also know about the Kiwis rather strange show of team cohesion on match-days.
Never a team to shy away from bringing something new and fun to the game, this weekend in Glasgow Forbes and some of his teammates with take to the pitch in errr… let’s just call it a new guise.
Asked about his ‘slightly different look’ Forbes had this to say:
Everybody knows that we like the growth and to show that we’re not too fussed with just working hard and not worried about our looks. It’s also a bit of team-building!
