BlitzBokke.com is a website that brings together an entire arsenal of social media applications and platforms to allow fans to show their support for the Springbok Sevens Rugby Team. It also aims to keep the fans, spread all over the world, up-to-date with the latest news and scores as far as the Blitzbokke and the HSBC Sevens World Series is concerned.
Those who know about broadband penetration in the South African internet landscape will tell you that most South Africans access the world wide web via mobile devices/smartphones. To this effect, we just added a mobile application (App) to our social media platform/application offering.
Here at BlitzBokke.com HQ were are on a seriously-steep learning curve and I am proud to say that the development of the BlitzBokke App was an completely in-house project that we’re rather proud of. Expect it to undergo some up-grading in the near future.

About the BlitzBokke App
The BlitzBokke mobile App is free and does not require access to Apple’s App Store. Once downloaded it can be shared via e-mail, SMS, Twitter, FaceBook and a QR Code. Simply visit this website, add your or your friends’ mobile number and the site will send you the download link (again) free of charge.
Whenever we add new data, the App will update directly on your phone when you open it.
The App is tournament-specific, which means we will share news and the latest results from the latest HSBC Sevens World Series tournament. Between tournaments, we will post news as it becomes available.
A word of caution though: In an attempt to make the App avaiIable ahead of the Hong Kong Sevens,we have not tested the BlitzBokke Mobile App on BlackBerry and Android. It should work well on these devices so if you use any of their operating systems, please let us know how it works for you.
