The best team-talk ever!

So the 2012 Cape Town Tens took place at Hamilton’s Rugby Club in Green Point this weekend.

Other than before, this website chose not to feature the shinanigans from the CT Tens this year around, but we just couldn’t let you miss out on this legendary tidbit.

After all, after this weekend’s Hertz New Zealand Sevens, we all need a wee distraction before we do it all over again (and then some) for next weekend’s Vegas Sevens.

Here then, please bear witness to the Best Ever Team Talk in the history of social rugby aka an excuse to drink beer (and leave the Missus at home):

My favourite lines:

I’m the team psychologist. Some free advice: this tour WILL break you…

Into how many pieces? Only time will tell.

You have enormous un-tapped power. You’ll probably never tap.

There’s gonna be pain…

Some of us will not run far enough to find that we have a second wind…

Who are they?

I’m not sure but a quick Google search suggests that the NUMZAN team could in fact be the Natal University Maritzburg Alumni (NUMZAN) hence the Zulu name and their interpretation of a Zulu warrior’s attire. (The Johnny Clegg accent of the team psychologist is a dead giveaway!)
