South Africa was last night drawn in Pool C of their home tournament at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
In keeping with new regulations, the draw for the Nelson Mandela Bay South Africa Sevens in Port Elizabeth was made ahead of the Dubai Sevens Cup Final. South Africa was drawn together with Australia, Canada and Kenya.
Pool A sees Dubai Cup Champions England face Argentina, the USA and Samoa. Dubai Cup Finalists France gets to play New Zealand, Scotland and Morocco in Pool B while Series Leaders Fiji will contest Pool D with Wales, Portugal and Zimbabwe.
South Africa coach Paul Treu last night confirmed that Robert Ebersohn will return to Super Rugby pre-season duties with the Toyota Cheetahs and will be replaced by Cornal Hendricks. The injured Cecil Afrika should return to full fitness and be available for selection.
