While the fringe tournaments at the purpose-built 7he Sevens Stadium in Dubai kicks off tomorrow (Thursday), the main action only starts early on Friday.

Those of you back home in South Africa, remember that Dubai is 2hours ahead of SA. The schedule below reflects Dubai local time (GMT +4) so do the math and subtract 2hours. Supersport.com will carry the Dubai action live on DSTV.

Our Boytjies kick off their desert campaign against Portugal in Game 6 at 11:10 (local time). This is followed by their clash with an ever-improving USA at 14:54 (local time).  Their final match is a biggy with the BlitzBokke taking on last weekend’s 2nd placed team (New Zealand) in the penultimate game of the day 19:30 (local time).

Below are the fixtures for Day 1 of the 2011 Dubai Sevens. As usual I will update the scores as it happens, so stay tuned.
