The Springbok Sevens side has received 2 nominations in SA Rugby’s annual Awards Ceremony.
SARU today announced that a ‘glittering function’ will be held at Gold Reef City on November 3.
The glittering awards ceremony will have a new feel to it this year as it moves to the Lyric Theatre at Gold Reef City. Tickets will be available to the public from Computicket from Wednesday, 26 October, while the ceremony will be broadcast live on Supersport from 19:30 on November 3.
Paul Treu (pictured below) coach and mentor to the Springbok Sevens Team has been nominated for ‘Coach of the Year’
The BlitzBokke, who won three tournaments during the 2010/11 HSBC Sevens World Series received a nomination in the category of ‘Team of the Year.’
