For those of you who didn’t know, current Springbok fullback Gio Aplon did duty for the Springbok Sevens team between 2007 – 2009.

Gio is in New Zealand with the Springboks and has just been included on the bench for Saturday’s crucial Rugby World Cup (RWC) quarter-final against the old enemies Australia.
