Youth Sevens: Update Day 2

The South African U18 Sevens side has advanced to Day 2 of the Youth Commonwealth Games after winning 2 of their 3 Pool B matches on the Isle of Man.

Coach Vuyo Zangqa’s boys ran in two huge scores against Sri Lanka (62 – 0) and Trinidad & Tobago (62-0) before coming unstuck against England (5 – 7).  The South Africans ended Pool B in second position with England topping the pool.

In Pool A Australia finished on 9 points followed by Scotland on 7.

South Africa takes on Canada in the Quarter-finals.
