The South African Rugby Union (SARU) and leading educational publishers Pearson today announced the launch of a unique publication to take the game even closer to children.
“Play Rugby” is a brand new book aimed at children to teach them the joys of playing rugby safely from a young age. It stars Bokkie and and is fully endorsed by SARU. An Afrikaans-language version called “Speel Rugby” is also available.
What BlitzBokke.com likes about the project is that it also instills the safety-aspect of rugby at an early age.

The book also features action photographs, Bokkie cartoons, activities, quizzes and a bonus DVD containing SARU’s Bokkie animations and a 10 minute clip showing how Bokkie was created.
