Here at BlitzBokke.com we receive so many inquiries for the dates of the 2011/2012 HSBC Sevens World Series.
For this reason we have written to the International Rugby Board (IRB) in Dublin but as yet we have not heard from them. SARU seems to have been sworn to secrecy because they’re also not telling.
What we do know is that the Gold Coast will kick off the new season ahead of Dubai later this year.
The Australian Rugby Union (ARU) today announced a range of attractive ticket prices and packages for the inaugural Gold Coast Sevens – Fever Pitch tournament in November at Skilled Park.
The two-day event, which will kick off the 2011-2012 HSBC Sevens World Series, is set to entertain, thrill and excite on and off the field.
Tickets, which go on sale to the public on Tuesday 18 October through Ticketek, start at just $39 for a Day One Adult pass, while a family of four (2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children) can pick up a two-day pass for just $158, which is less than $20 per person per day.

ARU Managing Director and CEO, John O’Neill, said ticket prices across the two-day inaugural Gold Coast event were great value and should generate quick sales when they went on sale in October.
“The inaugural Gold Coast Sevens – Fever Pitch tournament is going to be an exciting weekend of Rugby and to ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy the two-day international event we’re providing a great range of attractive ticket packages and prices,” Mr O’Neill said.
“These ticket prices represent great value and combined with some of the announcements will be making over the next few months around the additional entertainment that will be on offer at Fever Pitch I have no doubt tickets will be snapped up quickly when they go on sale in October.
“The Gold Coast is known around the world as a city of excitement and fun and that is exactly the atmosphere we will be creating for Fever Pitch.
“We know events like Dubai, Hong Kong and Wellington all put on a show that attracts people from around the world and with what we are planning, combined with these attractive ticket prices, I am confident fans from around the world will take the opportunity to come to the Gold Coast and enjoy the first leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series.”
