The entire squad of 29 South African Under20 hopefuls will get a run against DHL Western Province this afternoon, coach Dawie Theron confirmed.

The Baby Boks’ bench next to the pitch at the WP High Performance Centre in Bellville will be rather long with the 14 players not in the starting line-up also expected to get a chance to impress the selectors.

Springbok Sevens coach Paul Treu was also able to spend time with the players ahead of the BlitzBokke’s departure for the NZI Sevens next week.

Meanwhile, it was not all work and no play in the camp.

The Boys also spent some time working (hard?) on their tans on Clifton beach on Cape Town’s Atlantic seaboard. Needless to say, some had to “work harder” than others but a good time was had by all.

(Cheers to DHL WP scrummy Rick Schroeder for the pics.)
