Fiji beat the Springboks 21-19 in their Dubai Cup quarter-final match this morning after the BlitzBokke led 14-7 at halftime. Cecil Afrika and Boom Prinsloo both scored in the first half.
SA continued their first half blitz with a try by Bernardo Botha a minute into the second half but the physical presence of Fiji proved to be too much. Fiji responded with tries by Nasoni Roko and Seremaia Buroto to snatch victory at the death.
Fiji plays Samoa in the first Cup Semi-final while South Africa will face the USA in the first Plate Semi-final.
