Having witnessed Robbie Fleck’s infamous “score” a few years back (I couldn’t find a clip on Youtube) I always cringe whenever one of our players start kissing their wristbands, pointing to the heavens, making the sign of the cross and who-knows what else BEFORE putting the ball down after having crossed the try-line.
Ai tog Boys, if you haven’t learned from Flecky (granted, some of you may have been just a thought in your Old Man’s head at the time!) please learn from this poor soul:
I guess the flip-side will be to also tell you that whenever you chase down a potential score….
Never give up on the chase!
Some nifty footwork at the right time helps too…
(Thanks for the heads-up, Sport24.co.za)
