Not much surprise in this game. Kenya gave away the game’s first try to the Tunisians, but soon afterwards regained the ascendency with a flurry of successive touch-downs.

The first 4 minutes of the First Half, was ALL CANADA with a quick 3 tries!
Scotland had a chance to score with seconds left on the clock. They lost possession though, and on the turn-over (listen to this) Canada’s DTH Van Der Merwe scored Canada’s 5th try.

This must rank right up there as one of the WORST OPENING CEREMONIES ever! Mostly foreigners moving to Arab music. The commentators trying their utmost to highlight the “multi-cultural/multi-national” aspect of Dubai.
Bernard Lapasset (IRB) opening the tournament with some Arabic and “Let the tournament begin” was arguably the sorriest of the ceremony.
